ESTABLISHED 1994 · ESCONDIDO, CALIFORNIA
California's largest humidor, three lounges deep, and a patio built for afternoons that aren't in any hurry to end. Lord Puffer has been Escondido's tobacco parlor since 1994.
"Your One Stop Cigar Oasis" — three decades running, and we're not tired of saying it yet.
OUR STORY
In 1994, Manuel Reyes rolled a secondhand walk-in cooler onto a bare concrete floor on the edge of downtown Escondido, lined it with cedar he'd milled himself, and made a promise: this city would have a proper tobacco parlor — the kind his own father frequented back in Guadalajara — or it wouldn't have one at all.
Three decades later, that cooler has grown into the largest humidor in California. The folding chairs he set out for regulars became three separate lounges and a patio built around a wood-fired grill. The Reyes family still walks the floor most evenings, ashtray in hand, and the house rule hasn't moved an inch: come in a stranger, leave a regular.

THE LOUNGE
Lord Puffer isn't a counter you visit — it's a house you're invited into. Sink into tufted leather in the members' rooms, take the party outside to the grill, or book the private lounge and let us worry about the rest.

Reclaimed brick, tufted leather, and a television tuned to whatever's worth arguing about. Three rooms deep, so there's always a seat.

Red umbrellas, a wood-fired grill, and a plaid armchair with your name on it come Friday. Fuente Friday happens right out here.

Book the back room for a birthday, a bachelor party, or a deal that goes down easier with a pour in hand. Just the two of you and the door closed.

Leave your favorites where they belong — climate-controlled, brass-latched, and yours alone. The waitlist is short. The perk isn't.
"Some men golf. We just relight and start the story over."— Manuel Reyes, Founder
