Built By Two People Who Love Cigars
Nathan Kalasho and Angela Yue opened Lord Puffer on Las Villas Way and stocked it heavier than almost anywhere else on the West Coast. They weren't trying to build a destination — they just wanted a place where the regulars could sit a while.
The Arturo Fuente family has stood behind this counter more than once — Lord Puffer has hosted Fuente Fever, one of the largest Fuente events on the West Coast, with proceeds going to the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation. Three lounges, a patio, and a waiting list for lockers came later. The rule never changed: no rushing anybody out the door, and always room for one more chair.
